Feather Friends is a South African children's nature brand: where little birders begin. We create ultra soft plush birds finished with authentic bird calls, junior binoculars built for real outdoor use, and a Field Guide for Little Explorers featuring more than 30 Southern African bird species. It's a screen free hobby that grows with them, built for the whole family, turning a passion for nature into conservationists in the making.

We would like you to know that we are proud supporters of BirdLife South Africa, giving a portion of our profits, currently 2 percent of net profits, directly toward their work protecting Southern Africa's birds and the habitats they depend on. Every part of Feather Friends also starts on our doorstep in South Africa. We choose each bird species ourselves, and our Field Guide is researched, fact checked and written locally with guidance from experienced birding guides, so every call and conservation status is accurate.
