Sotran sources primarily from India and Indonesia comprising hand crafted solid wood chairs, tables, bar stools etc. Homecraft tableware, lampshades, root furniture, slab tables, artificial plants, mancave collectibles, scientific brassware, ethnic ornaments, jewellery and custom pieces.
Sotran has been trading since 2003 and goods are hand picked and redesigned for more appropriate use in South African homes. Sotran uses mostly village carpenters and suppliers, encouraging small local rather than mass production, handicraft and furniture. Wood types are exclusively non rain forest sourced and are supplied from village and government plantations.
