Clip Clop makes a range of nature-inspired calendars, maps and stationery. We have a loyal customer base who buy our calendars every year and keep their gift cupboards stocked with our notepads and cards. African animal families inhabit the Family Calendar (digitally created illustrations); hand-drawn flowers skip through the pages of the Notepads (3 different illustrations repeating throughout) and the maps allow us to explore the countryside — all, bringing the outside world inside. Fridge Magnets, Stickers, Cards, Calendars, Notepads and Posters are 100% South African.

Clip Clop’s focus is on making original, useful, high-quality products supporting local artists and suppliers while showcasing our natural world. Tourists and travelers buy our range of gifts, and locals rely on the network of retailers for their Clip Clop supplies. Corporates are welcome to contact Fiona for customized gifting options. Clip Clop’s byline is “loving the living world around us”.

MEET THE EXHIBITOR

Fiona and Chris started Clip Clop in the year 2000 with the launch of the first Moon poster. Their love of the outdoors and interest in all things growing (plants, animals, children!), combined with a passion for making things, has resulted in a flourishing business operating out of garden studios on their Cape Town property. Chris is the cartographer but spends most of his time working with an NPO, Violence Prevention through Urban Upgrading, while Fiona runs the business, from design and artwork, to sales, finance and production. Fiona is supported by Thembela who oversees stock management, product assemblage and packing orders.

Fiona and Chris like to find the prettiest paths, explore the mountains and oceans, and bring their inspiration back to the work table; loving the living world around us.
