RESPONSIBLE LEATHER PRODUCTION & ETHICALLY SOURCED HIDES

The leather we use is a by-product of meat and dairy farming in India. Rural Indian families typically raise 2-3 cows that will provide milk and farming horsepower over their twenty-year lifespan. At the end of their lives, their meat and hides are sold to buy new cows.

Our leather is tanned using Chromium-free Vegetable Dye, produced in Germany under strict EU regulation. Our made to order model ensures that energy consumption and wastage are always kept to a minimum.

Each Crimson & Clover bag is individually polished, checked and packaged into a branded cotton dust cover.
