Major John was established in 2014 by an architecture student, Paul Whitehead in Bloemfontein on the UFS  Campus. The first products were a series of 9 handcrafted timber bow ties.

Major John designs and produced a product range which includes genuine leather accessories such as suspenders, ties, wristbands and cable roll-ups. We also produce leather and Bull denim aprons for the restaunt trade as well as furniture and concrete and timber desk lamp.

Major John combines the ideals of the Arts-and-Crafts movement with modern trends to create unique hand-crafted products.
