- to assist individuals and self-help projects to provide a sustainable income.
- to help promote young and established artists and crafters to become self-supporting by accessing funding for training, development, exhibitions and publicity
- to discover, encourage and nurture works of creativity and originality and ensure they are of the highest quality.
- to preserve our cultural heritage in the various mediums.

This results in unique African products of a high quality and ethical provenance.
