ABOUT
Stainless steel kitchenware, tableware, high-end specialised ARAVEN storage containers and ARCOS professional knives for industrial, professional and home use.
We own two of our own brands, STEEL KING and FLAZ, and are also the proud distributors of prominent international brands, ARCOS, ARAVEN and SUNNEX.
Steel King are leading distributors of stainless steel kitchenware, tableware, high-end specialised ARAVEN storage containers and ARCOS professional knives to the HORECA, retail, meat and poultry industries. We trade throughout South Africa and neighbouring states and our customer base includes national chains, independent retailers, cash and carry outlets, catering equipment dealers and online platforms.
Our distribution policy remains to sell for resale only and we remain committed to supporting local manufacture and endeavour to ensure that at least a third of our procurement is generated from locally manufactured items.
MEET THE EXHIBITOR
Steel King is a third generation family business which has been operating since 1965. We are committed to fair dealing, product focus and consistency in servicing our customers, which we believe to be the foundation of our success and the fine reputation we have built over the last five (almost six) decades.
Our team is headed up by managing director, Peter Binge, who took over running of the business full time from his parents in 1978. In March 2022 (Peter’s 49th anniversary with the business) his daughter, Sarah, joined the team. Peter and Sarah are backed by a great team who share Steel King’s commitment to its values, including our general manager, Kareshma Sewbhajan and our sales manager, Marlene Jenkinson, who have been with Steel King for 12 and 9 years, respectively.
