Product Overview

LeRaw is a name derived from a South African colloquialism (Slang). It is pronounced with a Sesotho accent, “Le Raw lesela” – the fabric is raw (figuratively speaking). Meaning it’s an authentic/original idea because all products are handcrafted. LeRaw home&craft was founded in 2019, located at zone 7 Sebokeng, it is township enterprise that is 100% female owned. The company specialises in manufacturing authentic custom made products such as cushions, bedcovers, curtains, table runners, bags, pouches, toiletry/cosmetic bags, (not limited). 

Our vision is to broaden our horizon into being the largest manufacturing company (wholesale) providing quality products, authenticity, accessibility and diverse products. In 2020, LeRaw home&craft diversified its brand into providing creative sewing skills development within the community commencing every Saturday - LeRaw Craft Academy, an educational institute that caters for those who are creatively intelligent, nonetheless don’t fit into the mainstream education. The academy has reached 15 women within one year of its operation. 

Our brand (an owl holding a fabric) depicts the raw material/fabric we use to produce our products. Owls are found in different habitats that is symbolic of our brand, that you will find us in the manufacturing sector, retail and education department.
