African Jacquard has been designing, weaving, and producing a diverse range of high-quality homeware textiles, in the heart of Cape Town, since 2014. Founded by French born owner and Creative Director, Christine Daron, African Jacquard marries her heritage of luxury French home linens woven in the style of Jacquard with the warm colours of Africa. Having travelled all over the Continent to countries such as Gabon, Congo, Angola, Burkina Faso, and now residing in South Africa, Christine's love for traditional African textiles together with her first-hand experience in these different design cultures is apparent in the patterns and designs created at African Jacquard.

Using traditional Jacquard looms we weave with natural fibres, such a cotton and linen, and produce products such as throws, cushion covers, towels, table linen, kitchen linen and scarves. We also offer customisation, weaving your designs, colours and logos to your specifications.
