Inspiration for Diana Carmichael’s pewter tableware collections is drawn from life and art in Africa and the forms and textures of our extraordinary continent.

Every Diana Carmichael piece is handcrafted by our highly skilled and passionate team of local artisans at our factory in Johannesburg.  Attention to detail and the highest standards of workmanship, together with stringent quality control, ensure that although no two of our pieces are identical…by virtue of the human touch…each one is a truly unique piece of functional art.

We are committed to our proudly local ethos and to supporting small local businesses, from whom we source as many of our materials as possible.  We feel strongly about giving back to our local communities and gift a percentage of all of our sales to Smart Meals Africa - www.smartmealsafrica.co.za - a local NPO, to support their goal of providing nutrition to marginalized families.
