ABOUT

Fact presents a range of limited edition, upmarket hand bags, travel bags and cosmetic bags as well as cushions, selected kitchenware, coasters and cards. This unique selection of products are made up with carefully chosen images, photographed by myself, of scenes depicting Southern Africa. Each year we introduce new images and new products to our unique range. This year I have added a fun exciting childrens range. I have composed my own african styled AI images and superimposed my own wildlife photographs onto them making a unique product which I will be introducing at the show.

I believe that I am achieving what I set out to do; establishing an honest production process which benefits those involved in it and creating a space for myself to share my artistic expression in a unique way which portrays what my country has to offer.

MEET THE EXHIBITOR

I am so proud that FACT Designs has survived the covid epidemic, but only just. Three years ago, we had got to a comfortable situation in our small business and were enjoying the few trials that came our way. Then the unknown happened. We have learnt a lot these past 30 months and are very excited to be launching again.

Today I have a printing studio where I print my designs and the FACT production section has just moved to a new location where these designs are hand-crafted into the products you see on the shelves.

Five years from now, I hope to see FACT DESIGNS occupying a sturdy niche in the South African tourism industry, supplying unique products of exceptional quality to shops and lodges throughout the region
