Product Overview

Zizamele Ceramics makes vibrantly patterned handmade and handpainted ceramics.

The signature product is the UBUNTU Bowl which depicts clay female figures holding hands around the rim of various size bowls.  These clay figures wear their traditional African headscarves and carry their babies on their backs.  They are holding hands in the spirit of Ubuntu.

There is also a range of related products include candlesticks, vases, t-light holders and oil burners.  In 2019 we are introducing a range of functional vases called LILY VASES and platters.  The patterns on these are inspired by African wax cloth.

Each item is signed and dated by the artist to ensure it becomes a collectable.

All items are individually handcrafted and are 100% food safe.

Other products will be showcased this year. The "Women of Africa" are Ubuntu Bowls representing the various tribes found in Africa. The "angel bowls" and "angel vases and candlesticks" inspired by Africa with gold lustre added for Xmas sparkle will also be shown.  All these ceramics are created in a wide range of clays with many different glazes as well as metallic finishes.

Customised products are also possible.  Zizamele Ceramics can design typically South African corporate gifts for conferences or add logos to our existing products.
