CAPE ISLAND is a female-owned home fragrance company with a passion for telling stories through our products in a way that inspires people. The story of Africa is told through the fragrances themselves but also through the dramatic artwork that adorns our packaging. Each item we produce connects you to the natural landscape and the many people woven into it. As an environmentally and socially responsible company, we recognise that simply telling these stories is not enough. Our mission is to be a force for positive change in our immediate community and the wider continent by finding ways to give back to our original muse, Africa.

Our range of fragranced products can be found in boutique interior decor shops, retail gift shops, hotels and galleries across Southern Africa, and includes luxury scented candles, body care products, and a selection of hand screen printed textiles. When it comes to manufacturing, our products are proudly made in South Africa with a strong focus on high quality natural ingredients, microbatch production & ethical packaging. CAPE ISLAND products are kind to the environment that inspires us, without compromising on luxury. Whether it’s fragrance oils sourced from the Grasse region of  France, the organic coconut oil in our body products, or our elegant and reusable glass packaging, we are committed to creating a luxurious experience from beginning to end.
